    Reporting to the Senior Director, Medical Communications, this position will be a contributing to the medical information function within Medical Affairs. The role will ensure processing of timely, accurate, and balanced responses to unsolicited requests for medical information related to Radius assets in osteoporosis and oncology, in collaboration with other medical affairs functions and a Medical Information Customer Call Center.

     

    The individual in this role will develop and update standard response letters as needed and ensure their formal review and approval; provide medical information training to Radius employees and Medical Information Customer Call Center specialists; and provide medical information summary reports to Radius senior leadership.

    Responsibilities

    • Pro-actively ensure development of standard response documents, FAQs, and other documents based on newly published data or anticipated health care professional inquiries
    • Attend scientific review committee (SRC) meetings to champion medical information materials for dissemination
    • Process response to unsolicited requests for medical information for distribution by the Radius Medical Information Customer Call Center
    • Respond to medical information request escalations from the call center
    • Audit call center agent cases on a quarterly basis
    • Provide metrics and insights from medical information requests to internal stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain medical information SOPs and other guidance documentation as needed
    • Track medical information requests that meet Sunshine Act criteria
    • Interaction with healthcare professionals as needed to provide medical information responses
    • Additional medical information duties as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in relevant scientific field; advanced degree (MS, PhD, MD, PharmD) preferred
    • At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry AND experience in a Medical Information Customer Call Center
    • Sound oral and written communications skills
    • Ability to learn scientific and clinical knowledge of Radius assets
    • Ability to interact professionally with internal colleagues and external healthcare professionals
    • Commitment to timely and accurate communications
    • Enthusiasm, detail-oriented, excited to join a fast-paced team

      

    Work Environment:
