    Job Summary:

    The Director of Marketing Operations will manage and support the goals of the Marketing Operations team through direct operational experience. The ideal candidate will lead management/implementation of key functional services; deliver marketing program reporting and analytics; build/refine existing processes to enhance impact and efficiencies; plan and budget (in conjunction with functional marketing leadership) and manage data. This role has the direct responsibility for the following programs within the team: Support Center, Co-pay Program, Speaker Bureau, Clinical Educator Program, and company Meeting & Events planning.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Lead, manage, and support a marketing operations team.
    • Enhance the overall customer care strategy and drive the ongoing development of Radius’s customer support function.
    • Collaborate to develop and implement high impact patient and provider educational initiatives with key specialty pharmacies.
    • Ensure specialty pharmacy data needs from commercial operations are met in in a timely basis.
    • Perform planning, budget tracking and forecasting of the marketing operations department.
    • Manage and deliver Marketing automation processes and projects from inception to maintenance.
    • Set appropriate goals that align to the company’s overall initiatives and strategy.
    • Establish partnerships and cross-functional processes with key internal stakeholders including Market Access, Marketing, Finance, Sales and Technology to ensure seamless execution of marketing operations support.
    • Lead initiatives to scale the operations plans to meet the growing needs of the business.
    • Create, measure and exceed service standards and key performance metrics for customer experiences.
    • Define and report key business metrics to senior management and influence the organization to take the right action in response to the customer needs.
    • Anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plans to help evolve our customer care experience.
    • Develop and effectively manage annual budgets.

    Qualifications

      

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA or related Masters-level degree is preferred.
    • 8+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including positions in commercial operations
    • 5+ years demonstrated people management experience leading marketing operations teams, projects, programs and directing the allocation of resources.
    • 3-5 years’ experience working within a customer care or customer operations team or group.
    • Demonstrated successful experience in either initiating or transitioning HUB/Patient Services models and services.
    • Extensive experience managing third-party providers.
    • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharmaceutical industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues.
    • Understanding of, and experience with Specialty Pharmacy models and distribution channels.
    • Understanding of, and experience with execution of patient financial assistance programs.
    • Understanding of, and experience with Marketing processes, digital Marketing, web content planning and content lifecycle management.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
    • Strong problem-solving skills including structuring, interpreting and presenting analysis.
    • Strong project management skills that enable ability to execute complex projects with tight deadlines: strong attention to detail and follow-through.
    • Experience in SalesForce technology platforms, software and data management.
    • Possess critical business thinking skills and be comfortable with processes, analytics, desktop tools, software solutions, matrix management and budget management.
