The Manager, Meeting and Congress Planning will be responsible for supporting the Marketing and Sales Teams with planning, organizing and executing of internal and external events, meetings and congresses, with the support from the Director, Commercial Strategy & Brand Planning and the strategy team.
The incumbent will drive operational excellence and implement best practice procedures and efficiency across functional teams and vendors, by maintaining and enhancing control procedures through entire event cycle, pre-and post-event, planning. The incumbent will also hold accountability to partner with Radius Procurement in all contract negotiations.
In this role you will serve as point person for association key contacts to develop and finalize sponsorship agreements with brand input, ensure letters of agreement are complete and facilitate the completion of sponsorship activities in coordinate Facilitate completion of sponsorship activities (e.g. submission of creative materials – in coordination with marketing on with The Marketing Group.
You will manage the relationships with vendors, and hold them accountable for budgeting as well as, oversee and coordinate all online registration tools, and databases for external events.
Coordinate all pre-conference compliance training for both medical staff and sales representatives, along with all congress attendees, working with compliance and other stakeholders
You will manage all logistics planning with vendors regarding venues, onsite logistics, material development; including a/v room planning and transportation to and from events. This position will also coordinate company participation with the key stakeholders including registrations, logistics and various venue proposals.
Oversee social media calendar for external event promotion and responsible for database management and registration tools for external events.
In this role your scheduling flexibility is essential especially around peek seasons and meeting/ events. Appx. 10-20% US based travel maybe required.
